I'm half expecting a letter saying due to consideration, they think I deserve three weeks quarantine instead of the two weeks their algorithm had originally determined.

Hospital figures - 10 is the announced total, 5 down on yesterday and 6 down on last Wednesday. 9 were in English hospitals, 6 down on both yesterday and last week with all occurring in the past 10 days. The 7 day rolling average falls to 7.14

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, the announced total is 16, the same figure as both yesterday and last Wednesday. The 7 day rolling average stays the same at 9.71

For the 60 day cut off, the announced total is 38, yesterday’s figure was eventually given as 31 so today’s is 7 up on that and 21 up on last Wednesday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 21.14

For the Legacy, the announced total is 63, yesterday’s figure was eventually given as 84 so today’s is 21 down on that and 14 up on last Wednesday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 56.29

Interestingly, Czech case numbers are still (relatively) high, but they're generally pretty relaxed (again, relatively) because most of the cases appear to be among younger people, and are therefore quite mild. They're neither having high hospitalisation rates or high death rates. It seems that most of the rise is due to young(er) people being more active over summer. Perhaps of greater concern is that they've only got enough flu vaccines for 8% of the population
