Australian (essentially melbourne) 2nd spike deaths now 3 times the original natiowide 1st wave total
No. But until there is, we all socially distance. And the governement should enforce with bigger fines non-compliance with facemask wearing, large gatherings and they should close virus incubators like pubs and restaurants. And until then we all just stay indoors?
Agree wirth the last part, but people who dont want to take a vaccine can place the whole project in jeopardy.they shouldn’t- no one should be required to have medical treatment without their informed consent- but there should be a government scheme to get people vaccinated and there should be consequences (eg not being allowed in to the country) if you aren’t

I have no time for these 'individuals' asserting their 'freedom' to do whatever they want. The Aussie PM mentioned the 'M' word, but had to back track on it, as it wasn't - at the moment anyway - strictly legal
Highly Recommended, advised etc, etc.
But if 90+% get the kiddies jabs and such, I have a feeling though, if Mandatory or Compulsory were mooted some of that 90+% would say No on principle.
pubs and restaurants closed?Thats what I see happening. Every day, and everywhere I need to go to.
Whatever is required should be done. Strict compliance. It kinda is anyway mate.
But by logic, everyone should then get her flu jab as mandatory.
After all the flu kills the old and sick every year without the vaccine. Much like covid-19 does.
Not getting the vaccine outside of the old and sick means you may get really ill but you recover. Just like covid-19.
So if one is mandatory for all then they all should be.
Oh and if only the old sick and vunerable got the vaccine then 'technically' the risk factor would drop by 99% for covid-19.
pubs and restaurants closed?
We don't even have one Dave
So by that logic everyone should be under house arrest until one is found? If that actually even happens?
The people who want to stay indoors until there is a vaccine are free to do so. But the rest of us will get on with our lives.
BCthey shouldn’t- no one should be required to have medical treatment without their informed consent- but there should be a government scheme to get people vaccinated and there should be consequences (eg not being allowed in to the country) if you aren’t
We know that over a thousand per day get this virus still and its places indoors where people sit around for hours that are the drivers. See Aberdeenshire for example. No, the SD and masks. I am split on pubs and restaurants. I personally wouldnt go to either, but I know folk who have, and it seems to be "safe" with the measures being taken. Then again, I live in a pretty modest town, with a low bellend quota; no idea what city centres on a weekend are like.
You’re going round in circles.
