All bars, cafes,restaurants and clubs to close at midnight from tonight.They can open from 7am until midnight until 23/08 and it will be reevaluated here in Greece.

Am I missing sommet? What will that do to lower a spread? Unless Greeks and tourists usually go out between midnight and 7 am.

Mate.......... how's my luck lol Just secured 2 nights doing a 2 gigs on the side due to losing last months money (wrong IBAN) now they are cancelled FFS lol

Majority in the spike is due to social distancing going out the window after a few drinks (youngsters) So mainly Clubs and late night bars.

I just struggle to get why closing bars and clubs between midnight and 7 am is in any way nothing other than utterly pointless.

Closing between 7 pm and midnight makes sense, which I hope @marnie meant.

But its like saying the UK are focusing on a spread in schools, by closing them between 6 pm and 8 am.

If ONLY.Social distancing by some is really good.During the day all adhere to the rules.As soon as the ale comes in to the mix the later it goes on.........the rules go out the window.Makes no sense to me at all.

Are you seeing that many tourists? I recall you mentioning one resort or hotel that was pretty much 100% dependent on the Brits popping over, being frantic a while back.

Back in office for first time today. Good to actually be around other people.

125 hotels out of 700 odd open on the island running at 30%ish max capacity per hotel.Today there were 126 new cases within Greece and 216 yesterday.They know what they are doing....................I think.
