Contrary to what the rags would have you believe, that wouldn`t appear to be the case though would it ?
The BLM protests and people flocking to the beaches doesn`t seem to have caused spikes.
Having recently been on one of the beaches in Cornwall that the press reported as being "out of control ", I can 100% say that the beach was busy, but everyone was the correct distance apart ( and more ) and that the photographs that were used had been " manipulated " to make it look like people where sat on top of each other.
At no point did I feel uneasy whilst on the beach and my youngest lad falls into the at risk category due to his disability, so there`s no way we`d have gone on the beach if we thought it wasn`t safe.
Top tip, don`t read the Daily Mail.
I think a lot of people who go to the extreme now online don't seem to get the world outside. Reading this thread alone you would think that stepping outside the front door and you are risking your life and it's like the walking dead in trying to survive.
We were talking about it in work today, us sat in the office was almost like normality. Yes we are the required 1 metre apart at our desks but generally we are just getting up and having a normal day. Besides wearing a mask we are shopping as normal, with so much normality back to life even at a restricted basis. Much of which will be in place for quite a while making that the norm.
It's all about taking precautions and using common sense absolutely. I have no fear of catching this virus whatsoever but I still take precautions none the less.
Yet the more you talk about death tolls and infections and spikes and this and that, it's just creating your own personal fear. Even 4/5 months later when the numbers have considerably dropped. Like I've said before, you can't just stop fearing the unknown like that , people are living the statistics and have done for a good while.
Except out the front door, you can have normality again, even if it's behind a face mask.
