Confused me.

So Mrs B had it, and has antibodies, yet you didnt catch it from her? Or you did, but dont have antibodies?

Dunno mate, but the test came back negative. They can't tell me whether I caught it from her but no longer have antibodies, or whether I didn't catch anything and our hygiene methods were decent. All they said was I have no antibodies.

What was perhaps more interesting was the general chaos around it. I had the test done at Guy's hospital, after a referral from my GP. I hadn't heard anything in a while so rang up the hospital to try and speak to someone. The guy at the hospital clearly didn't get what I was on about as he transferred me to a place that does the testing for covid itself. When I spoke to them, they didn't even know antibody tests were available, and suggested I Google the department at the hospital to see if they have a direct contact number. Turns out they do, and after a few times being cut off, they told me I have to ring my GP as they will have the results. Finally got through to the GP, and the receptionist gave me the result over the phone without any real explanation or anything.

Now granted, it was for the antibodies, so perhaps not as serious as with the actual covid test itself, but I hope to goodness that the process is a lot smoother, and also that when you're given your results that they actually take a bit of time to explain what it means and what you should do.

Thats been my mantra from day 1.

As if I'm going to trust my life and the life of everybody and everything I hold dear to a Tory death cult.

You would have to be quite insane to listen to a word these butchers have to say.

Anyway I'm just off out to take advantage of these wonderful fast food deals.

@Tea_drinker

Loads will, unfortunately.

"Boris sed we kan go out an' get cheap scran an' get bladdered lad".

I had similar thought then then i questioned the possibility that most probably on minimum wage, without a guarantee of full sick pay if they were to have COVID symptoms, probably cant afford to isolate, so thought better of it.

Besides, last week it was stay in to stay slim, now and now its eat out to help out.:hayee:
