I take whatl this lot say with a mountain of salt. They are utter BS artists.

My advice to anyone is to ignore what these murderers say and use your own common sense.

Thats been my mantra from day 1.

As if I'm going to trust my life and the life of everybody and everything I hold dear to a Tory death cult.

You would have to be quite insane to listen to a word these butchers have to say.

Anyway I'm just off out to take advantage of these wonderful fast food deals.

Hospital figures - 5 is the announced total, 3 down on yesterday and 5 down on last Monday. All 5 were in English hospitals, the exact same number as yesterday and 5 down on last week with all 5 occurring in the past 10 days

Been to a number of pubs over the past month or so - Every single one without exception has had distancing measures in place, hand sanitising stations, reduced capacity etc

Don't tarnish all pubs with the scally image of a load of meatheads hugging each other after 12 pints of Stella - It's been a considerably more relaxing, and safer experience than visiting the supermarket

For those of you bored on this Monday morning/afternoon with WAY too much time on your hands and wanting to nerd out...

Summary table of each trial for all potential COVID-19 treatments

*background on the group - the professional organization for (mostly) hospital based pharmacists (ie a reliable source)
Had a look at a few of them including the Vitamin D one on page 57

NIH COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Pan- el states that there are insufficient data to recommend either for or against use of vitamin D for prevention or treatment of COVID

Pity as would be one of the easier ways to help if it was effective - hopefully one of the many trials comes back with something encouraging.

Obviously not all pubs are flaunting the rules but it's just inevitable that a lot of them will and, in time, we'll be back to business as usual. Certainly the local near us is full of the familiar bears all jostling and shouting at the bar as if the virus never happened.

Further along the road there's a pub where you can sit outside and get served. It's strictly conforming to the regulations but come the Scottish autumn and that's going to be a chilly experience!

This is my choice, but I’m starting to wish that it wasn’t. I don’t feel qualified. I’ve been a superintendent for 20 years, so I guess I should be used to making decisions, but I keep getting lost in my head. I’ll be in my office looking at a blank computer screen, and then all of the sudden I realize a whole hour’s gone by. I’m worried. I’m worried about everything. Each possibility I come up with is a bad one.

The governor has told us we have to open our schools to students on August 17th, or else we miss out on five percent of our funding. I run a high-needs district in middle-of-nowhere Arizona. We’re 90 percent Hispanic and more than 90 percent free-and-reduced lunch. These kids need every dollar we can get. But covid is spreading all over this area and hitting my staff, and now it feels like there’s a gun to my head. I already lost one teacher to this virus. Do I risk opening back up even if it’s going to cost us more lives? Or do we run school remotely and end up depriving these kids?

There's is definitely anecdotal evidence that patients with a Vitamin D deficiency don't do as well. Lots of potential related variables in that though such as being a maker for poorer overall health.

*correlation...causation and all that ;)

I should add...had you and @Bruce Wayne as the folks most likely to actually click the link
