It's not as bad down here but I was in the shop earlier and a rough family were in there without any masks and not caring how close they got to anyone. People are just stupid or because they are young and they think that something bad couldn't possibly happen to them it might be selfishness/arrogance. Also appears because some people wear masks they think distancing no longer applies.

People need to give their heads a wobble or it will just be like this for years but it seems not enough people are willing to sacrifice 6 months to year for a chance to have a quicker conclusion.

I went with my son, I told him to stay outside cos he didn't bring a mask "Why?, nobody else is wearing them".

I still made him wait outside, but its a joke.

I can understand why the wouldn't want to, it's not going to be easy for kids that can't see beyond next week nevermind months. Honestly it would be a killer to have so many freedoms taken away but this is where everyone has to be forced so they don't feel like the odd ones out.

Utter joke round my ends with regard masks.

The first day I saw like 90%, yesterday I saw 10% and today I was the only person wearing 1 when I went into Tesco.

The Wiza will be next on lockdown for sure.

I've been to Sainsbury's both Thursday and Friday, I didn't see a single person not wearing a mask.

People are weird.

Don't want to pay it ? Then don't, just do the 14 day quarantine.

I'd imagine if it becomes part of the new norm, airlines will offer flights into the UK which optionally include a test, and they'll negogiate a bulk discount, some of which they'll pass on to the consumer.

It'll likely price some people who can't work from home on return out of the foreign travel market, but we're in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, so in the grand scheme of things, it's hard to care too much about that.

OK, but what does any of that mean? Expedited shipping $29. What is that? $32 Operations?

I understand that is an option to avoid 14 day quarantine and not compulsory, but even so.

It's like when governments announce a feasibility study costing $10 million on, say, a road extension. So, what, a dozen blokes who probably
already know the answers talk about it and get back with the result three months later. How did that cost 10 mil? They must be on a great hourly rate.

I live in Melbourne and there are testing sites all over the place where there are hundreds of cars queued up to get tested. There's no charge and
there were 35,000 tests done in just one day this week and they're testing every day and have been for months. Multiply that by 150 pounds, never
mind dollars.

I honestly just think it’s a general intelligence thing. Whilst you don’t have to be smart to understand the gov asking you to wear a mask; I find the more stupid someone is the less likely they are to understand the virus, masks, social distancing etc. They just don’t get it.

How come everytime theres bad news the weathers nice, and also as soon as the football finishes it gets stricter..

And apart from lock down this year, middle aged men on their ridiculous priced bikes come my way every year to test their handling skills on bendy Welsh roads few end up like spreaded jam, dead. Some of them have been accountants engineers or company owner's, they would have to be to afford the bikes.

They know as floating petri dishes, the industrial cruise ship holiday! They are not QE2...
Would be interesting to whomever sold the holidays what alternatives were offered to those who had fully paid up and may have faced the choice of losing all their money.
