Was it not the other week and we had Bullingdon clowning about saying it would be over by october or christmas and we have the balloon on tv saying we need to have these localised lockdowns ,can anybody take the clown seriously, and them that voted for his mob need to have a long think to themselves especially the working class ex Labour who lent him their vote for christs sake

As far as im concerned send the kids back to school ASAP.

Lets be honest we've all seen gangs of kids/teenagers hanging around town or in parks even during lockdown.

They may aswell be learning at the same time.

I would have assumed that some sort of online learning could have been developed pretty easily, but as @Bruce Wayne posted a while back now, in the state sector, it seems to be patchy, at best.

My youngest lad, (22, on the austistic spectrum) has been able to do online rehearsals for his cancelled panto, and on line practice with the folk group he sings in. Most days he is on some sort of zoom based interaction.

Online learning is fine in the short term, but no way is it keeping a teenager motivated in the long term.

Unfortunately the kids that suffer the most are the kids whose parents who aren’t arsed about them.

I know in my lads school, there where kids that hadn’t even logged onto their homework since the start of all this, let alone done any.

I know what your message is but everyone is different. I know loads of home work outs but I need the actual process of going to the gym etc etc...the ritual if you like. Drug addicts are similar in that they enjoy the process as much as the product.
