I'd imagine if it becomes part of the new norm, airlines will offer flights into the UK which optionally include a test, and they'll negogiate a bulk discount, some of which they'll pass on to the consumer.
It'll likely price some people who can't work from home on return out of the foreign travel market, but we're in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, so in the grand scheme of things, it's hard to care too much about that.

Mother in law who as you know is doing the track and trace inadvertently let a family know they had it as after 20 days no one had called them back with their test results.
