What happens in China has been increasingly affecting world market movements in recent times. Largely, it's skirmishes with USA over trade but this is a different ball game. This could lead to big recession all over the gaff.

It could indeed. Supply chains in a variety of industrial sectors will be hit....

Starting to creep in to the UK now.

I think we’ll see an explosion when the schools start back after half term... quite a few families jet off in February half term and they’re sure to pick it up.

Sky headline : Coronavirus poses greater global threat than terrorism, WHO warns

What was actually said : "To be honest, a virus is more powerful in creating political, social and economic upheaval than any terrorist attack. It's the worst enemy you can imagine."

The media are a disgrace

So far appears to follow the norm - older and/or those with preexisting disease. Doesn't seem to be as bad on kids as the flu.

I'm sorry but people who are in a relatively healthy age bracket just don't drop dead for no reason. We've seen doctors in their 30s drop dead.

Undermine this virus at your free will, I guess it's easy to do when you're many thousands of miles away, so I don't blame you there.

I didn't say younger folks hadn't died, but per the WHO and CDC, those that are older and those with underlying disease are more likely to become severely ill and thus at higher risk of dying.
