I went shopping Saturday and only one shop had the staff with ppe. It was a small card shop with one employee on the shop floor serving. That also includes Asda , Iceland , bm , heron , Poundland .
So it wasn't an isolated case, pretty much every shop I visited didnt have any staff protected. Same as other stores I have been to in the past have not had them. Haven't been to town so can't comment on that front but I'm sure one of us have.
Where are these live events happening? I haven't seen a single concert show or gig announced any time soon. They are all still shut down. Yet if me and my mates and co off Facebook want to go and protest something then nothing wrong there.
Families can visit under certain rules, but I can't get all the family together in my house? That's breaking the rules but if me and a load of strangers all go and buy from trainers or want to do shopping (which supermarkets have stopped restricting numbers now) then that is perfectly allowed.
it seems to be a northern thing then rather than a southern.I was in Cornwall last week and I’m now in Devon mate and in every place I’ve been to mask wearing is 100% in all of the shops and all staff are either wearing those screen things or masks.
Most places are operating a no mask no entry policy too.
So it looks like it’s varying from area to area to me.
But that is most shops? The more busy shops as well.
Surely you aren't advocating the shops are too low brow for you lol
Don't think I have noticed him before.
Not so anxious, it seems.
Being able to spread in a shop doesn't make a shop and a plane the same thing, also as far as I'm aware shops aren't banned so both planes and shops are available to the public under new guidelines. Your point was that you couldn't see how a plane could be less dangerous than a shop, I made no bold statements but all I did in my post was explain how it could potentially be less dangerous. I'm honestly not going to talk about the rest of your post because, and I don't mean any offence here, if you want to debate a topic you can't just ignore the context of the reply and scattergun with about 12 new issues or questions. It makes for very poor conversation. No but if it can spread in a shop then it can absolutely spread in an aeroplane as well. Same as everything other than locking your front door keeps you safe from the virus.
But one is deemed fine and the other not? In fact it's fine for people to wear masks in shops but not the staff? Isn't that putting them at risk? Exactly the same premises but one is magically immune?
It's fine to protest but not to go the beach? It's fine to go to an office depending on where you work but not ok to go and have a family get together. It's fine to go and queue up and shop in town but it's not fine to queue up and go and visit a band playing even at social distance rules?
There isn't any logic to this.
The Daily Heil, Facebook and social media in general. Where else?So if we shouldn't believe or trust the people who have experience and qualifications in this field, where do you suggest we get our information from instead in order to make that informed decision?
I'm no aviation expert but i think the engines draw the air in for the exchangesGood afternoon ladies and gentlemen, Big Al here, I’m your pilot for today, bit bevvied like, but I’ll open the window and get a bit of fresh air in and I’ll be sound
That’s correct. Some of the air drawn in through the jet engines is continuously cycled in through the cabinsI'm no aviation expert but i think the engines draw the air in for the exchanges

I remember a Tony Hancock skit where he had to have it explained to him that planes are made so you can't open the windows, 'well, that is just poor craftsmanship old boy' was his replyYou mean after Doris has had her fifth Ryanair pastie the stewards don't open a few windows?
I was quoting a Tom O’Connor sketch and being a bit silly, I apologise.I'm no aviation expert but i think the engines draw the air in for the exchanges
