Nah. I am not ignoring it. In fact, the exact opposite.

What grinds my gears is some on here who launch into diatribes about what we should and shouldnt do, call them murders, but give a free pass to where it came from.

Its mankinds problem, not one persons.

Well if you look at the 3 worst-hit countries :

Brazil - Their PM is a moron who is pretending it doesn't exist and is extremely racist
Murica - See above
UK - See above

You don't see the Germans throwing blame around, they just protected their people.

Its criminal negligence and I wont be shocked when Johnson, Hancock and all the rest are up in the Hague facing genocide against its people.

I totally agree that we havnt exactly done great. But the reasons why Brazil and Merica are still in a crisis are plain to see.

And I am not defending the Government, at all.

But until this all washes through, and some better analysis why and how countries were affected differently is done, its juvenile and frankly pathetic for folk to post some of the stuff they do. Or did.

Like have the UK had more deaths cos Johnson decided to murder folk, does every country count the same way, do some countries minimise Covid deaths by giving cause of death as a cardiac, are the demographics and urban sprawl the same throughout the world, are the BAME population as exposed to the virus across the globe, the variables are endless.

But no. We murder people. Beyond pathetic.

That is just the overall figure, not a 24 hour one as there is backdating each day. In comparison to yesterday it’s up 48 but against last Friday it’s down 47. The 7 day rolling average is edging closer to being into double digits, down to 102.43 with the hospital rolling average at 44.86. Going by day to day the averages work out at 14/15 in all settings and 6/7 in hospitals
