Current Affairs Coronavirus Thread - Serious stuff !!!

I'm sorry I didn't realise my question was that difficult given that the item you linked was concerning who Deloitte report the findings of Pillar 2 testing to.

Anyway, I've looked into it further myself and according to an article in the Times yesterday, Deloitte only arrange and facilitate the testing. The results are passed to the NHS who in turn need to inform PHE of their findings. This is the specific paragraph from the Times article that refers.

"Deloitte, which said it could not comment on client matters, set up the testing facilities and booking system but does not run them. It passes details of those who book and request home test kits to the NHS, which collates them with results from labs and is responsible for passing them to PHE"
Given you've just mentioned a chain of notification involving Deloitte, PHE and NHSE - you could include in that Community Testing organisations or Local Authority - it is a bit difficult to know who the 'who' you were referring.

Not entirely accurate that Times article. For quite a long time it completely went into a black hole.

So you`d be happy to attend that event ???????

Look at the people walking past the big table, not a lot of social distancing going on there, that`s before you even start to look at what`s going on at the table.

If that was in the UK, you`d be jumping up and down, with steam coming out of your ears, screaming your usual diatribe.

You are so selective with your criticism and praise, depending on your own agenda, it`s untrue.

I know it`s been said many times before, but if you despise this country so much, you should just leave.

I`m sure there`ll be plenty of opportunities in Hong Kong, once the people of Hong Kong start leaving to escape life under the great bunch of lads.
In a country as well governed as the Czech Republic? Yes.

You're not thinking this through really are you?

Geez Dave, you don't help yourself. The data you've provided from your un-referenced source clearly seems to be over the full lifecycle of the pandemic. I'm providing you data from here and now. Czech has had more cases per head of population than the UK for a few days now, yet you seem to think a street party on Charles Bridge with no masks is fine whilst at the same time calling anyone that goes for a pub in Bristol a murderererer.

No, you dont help yourself.

Here's your post:

Czech has more cases per head of population than the UK does Dave.

No period of time specified, so I'm supposed to guess what you were referring to. Be precise.

As for, "The Czechs have had more cases per head of population than the UK for a few days". Well, that's a few days (and it'd be nice if YOU were to provide ANY sort of source for that, btw).

The NHS being the black hole?

To be clear, that's a question not a statement by the way, hence the use of a question mark

I kinda assumed it was obvious that infections this week would be more relevant to a street party than infections in March.

Who themselves get their stats from official government sources. I'll leave you to do the maths regarding the populations of each country.

His post was pretty obvious. Your eagerness to prove him wrong prevented you using your brain before posting.
