The money is pretty much irrelevant. Once you get to the stage that your health service is going to become overwhelmed then there is no choice but to go in to lock down. Society would get to the stage in which it simply cannot function properly.

A bankrupt state is in effect a state that can't function properly, mass terminal unemployment, a life of misery for all and no industry or services to speak of, another total lockdown and we'll almost be there.

Regional lockdowns, (Liverpool, already with a relatively higher rate, making itself an outstanding candidate), and reimposition of severe restrictions on travel and where you can travel, is the only practical option left.

If anyone wants to know what we'll be like in a month, take a look at some of those more populous states in the US which almost completely ditched the lockdown a few weeks back and are now seeing their heath care systems overwhelmed.

But, yeah, take a holiday, go the ale house, go for a meal, walk around the shops, get to a film etc etc.

It's difficult to see the rationale of a quarantine to and from countries with a far lower Covid infection rate than our own,. So it's not that totally ridiculous to suggest visiting certain countries that are far safer than our own is not that massively risky.

Or perhaps she thinks it is?

Air bridges won't exist to everywhere!

She's possibly taken it out of context, but that doesn't do her many favours.

Being a Tory you have to think he'd be worried about your fate should you encounter any foreigners though. They may speak a different language and stuff.

You’d love it, wouldn’t you?

Are you insane?
Am I insane? Am I the person that’s posting with palpable glee that certain states in the US are seeing health care systems are getting close to being overwhelmed?

It seeps through every one of your posts that you want even more death to prove that this lockdown didn’t work because you think it shouldn’t and by extension the Western Capitalist system.

As ever Dave, you aren’t as clever, or possess as much guile as you think.

What on earth drove you that conclusion, you utter lunatic?
