What reality do you live in lad? Utter garbage what you've posted there....."starving and going mad"?? Get in the fecking bin
Thos was back in March btw. Since then foodbanks have been really struggling partly due to their being no football to collect at. You may not fully appreciate the depth of poverty and hunger in the city.

We are meant to believe that they keep finding dead bodies in the back of cupboards from May.

Need to replace the daily briefings with Jackanory, would probably be more accurate.

But hey, the insecure people need to lift weights and look in mirrors.

Weight lifting isn't just about vanity. It has huge benefits for all round good health. And it's not something that everybody has the space for to do at home.

Then, there is the matter of those who work in gyms. They need to get back to work....

What happens if new infections start rising again before the 4th July? Would they put the brakes on? What a shambles that would be.

I am supportive of opening up certain elements of the economy again - about the only thing I have agreed with through this terrible episode and it’s farcical handling - but I think it’s risky when we’ve only had 2 days where new daily confirmed cases are below 1000. Hope it stays that way And continues downward between now and the 4th.

However, I think it gives the wrong message stopping the press conferences today after that announcement. People will translate that as a full stop over the whole thing. Behaviours will change from tonight, if they haven’t already. Fingers crossed this all works out.

Yeah. Sure he said his firm reopened last week but he had an weeks holiday booked

Yeah been in today so couldn’t update

Officially the figure is 171 but PHE added 109 historical deaths to the total dated between April and this month

The 171 actually brought the 7 day rolling average down to 121 but with the historical additions it rises slightly to 136

The hospital figure of 51 is the 12th day running reporting sub 100 totals, bringing the average down massively to 57

In terms of comparison, the initial number and historically added number are up 156 and 265 respectively on yesterday’s low number but 62 down and 47 up respectively on last Tuesday. The hospital figure of 51 is 30 up on yesterday but 36 down on last week, 46 of which were in English hospitals which is 26 up on yesterday and 33 down on last week with 41 happening in the past 10 days. The 24 hour total for English hospitals was 6

I imagine in another 2 weeks the numbers will have dropped alot more.

It's demographic related too.

People under 40 are now thinking: "Bollocks to anyone else, I'm pissed off and I want my old life back".

This will be a massive issue in the coming months ahead: the generational issue will be huge.
Yes I agree. The younger generation have no fear or respect concerning covid 19.
They'll catch it but not get really sick.
However they will pass it on to many older people who could finish up with a tube down the throat.
Really time to make mask wearing in indoors public places obligatory.
No mask, no entry.
