True, drop in the ocean, but if you scroll down a bit, you'll see they say

We have family links which has allowed us to have a secure overseas supply chain for PPE, masks, gowns, disinfectants, sanitisers etc.

Maybe they're legit, maybe they're fly by night, who knows, I don't, and neither do you.

But one thing's for sure, though the elected parts of govt have, at best, spun the info on PPE and, at worst, continually lied through their teeth* , the whole process hasn't been helped by the piss poor bureaucracy associated with the centralised procurement process.

So I'd rather people tried other methods as well, and if that means a risk of failure or corruption, then so be it, that's a risk worth taking.


*it's far closer to the latter than the former.
