@RAFUH have you got a feel for what is normal icu occupancy at this time of year? Know a bad seasonal flu can stretch things in winter but this seems pretty high for June but that might be my blissful ignorance.

June wouldn’t usually be a high census month, but I don’t know any stats off the top of my head.

That said our hospital recently opened up to less urgent surgeries so more ICU beds filled for post surgical patients and Im sure that is true for many states. Hospitals make money on surgeries so they will want to fill bed with those.

On the other hand, our COVID census is back up on the high end after dropping most of last week.

Hanging is far too good for him mate.
He's caused untold damage here with his "do as I say , not what I do" attitude.
Even moreso the buffoon thats defending him.
I laugh at the Greeks for their 'We will do it tomorrow attitude' I went the butchers the other day and they are all in disbelief and laughing at what is going on back home.

I wouldnt bother trusting this source, clearly a fearmongerer that has no idea what he is talking about. Average ICU capacity is about 63% over recent years, and previous 3 year averages are always between 55-80%. All of those numbers are normal, and those being used by that site are apparently bad guesses. For example, my state is in section D, which is made to look "dangerously high", when even if accurate statistically in reality that's the average. My state has over 2000 ICU beds, and 300 are being used for COVID patients right now.
