A take from today's briefing (at my hospital) that I think @Bruce Wayne will like. This thought was born from analysis from our own patients that show well over 90% had at least one "high risk" comorbidity and a average BMI 33 (I'm not arguing BMI with anyone - none of these folks are muscle bound gym rats)

Moving forward we need to concentrate on folks being in better overall health to help in preventing/limiting, if not the spread, then the serious cases of COVID.

That won't happen with our current administration as it would mean improving social determinants of health and this list does not even whisper GOP priority

2. Employment and working conditions
3. Education and literacy
4. Childhood experiences
5. Physical environments
6. Social supports and coping skills
7. Healthy behaviors
8. Access to health services
9. Biology and genetic endowment
10. Gender
11. Culture
12. Race / Racism

We cannot stay in lockdown for infinity.

Allowing six people to meet up outdoors while socially distancing is relatively low risk according to the science.

Infinity is usually used to indicate a never-ending spatial concept, for a never-ending temporal concept one should use the term eternity.

My wife has become quite a dab hand at using the Wahl clippers and scissors. She's even able to do a reasonably good fade on the side!

I'll be honest that I did make her watch a good few YouTube videos beforehand and our son was her guinea pig once or twice.

When everything seemed to be going well and she had adequate experience, I let her have a go. Still, I'll be right back to the barbers when I can do!

TBF London would have been the best area to include in a test (maybe not the first test) - the problems that the tube, the population density etc are going to be greatest here and so need to be ironed out / identified.

Japan’s experience would suggest that neither issue are insurmountable- at least if steps are taken.
