Hancock is the sacrifical lamb and has already been thrown under the bus with his 100 000 tests a day - conjured up to deflect from Johnson's 100 000 people per day. Interesting that Robinson didn't ask to highlight which guidelines Cummings followed? Was it the one Harries said about if a person needs child care they should contact the local authority hub? Or was it some other guideline and point it out to the country.
Cummings and Johnson have put two fingers up to the great British public and in effect said, 'we make the laws, regulations and guidelines and we can follow them if we want But you lot have to - don't do as I do, do as I say spaffs forth from their mouths. It's the lying cover up that will catch Cummings and Johnson out.
I think no further action Is being taken. Doubt Durham police want to get drawn into this too much although they will be fuming that their authority has been undermined.
