If he does, they tried floating that (that his son is autistic) on twitter last night - loads of people pointed out that their kids are autistic and they didn't do this even without being contagious.
Plus he looks like a sex offender, so the public is not going to warm to him
And reveal himself to be Vladimir Putin in a mask.He will probably just announce that he has accepted Boris Johnson's resignation
He'll probably speak better than the other two
In all seriousness, assuming it’s not a resignation, personally I would accept an apology. A genuine one.
A really good assessment. I suspect that the mere idea that he's got to address the public will probably at a minimum irritate him and will he be able to manage this?i think it’ll be really interesting . I’d say he’s probably more intelligent than them and From what you read of his history and quack profiles I don’t think lying ,if that’s what was required, would present him with a moments pause .
However he won’t be able to say he wasn’t told so can’t avoid a question with that stock bluster , he isn’t used to public speaking and those profiles we’ve read and what we’ve seen may well Indicate an overinflated idea of self worth and that seldom goes well when being questioned . I also think his character may make him difficult to empathise with and if you’re telling your story , your ‘truth ‘ , you Want people to get onboard with it and with you and I think that may present real problems for him .
whatever else this is and however much of a distraction it is from the real world and the serious problems in it I think it’ll be compelling viewing .
How's the hangover Pete?
The point is, I don’t think for one minute he would ever give a genuine apology. It’s so far from his MO. I don’t think it would ever ever happen. If it had come when it all first came out, not after the horse has bolted though and no matter how genuine it sounded it would just look like he was doing it under duress.
