If he does, they tried floating that (that his son is autistic) on twitter last night - loads of people pointed out that their kids are autistic and they didn't do this even without being contagious.

Plus he looks like a sex offender, so the public is not going to warm to him

Imagine using your son's autism to score points and gain a bit of sympathy, honestly there's no level too low for these scumbags is there.

I can't picture a scenario where I'd blame my cockup on my autistic son, other than when I've demolished a full jar of biscuits in one sitting, then I'll shift the blame his way.

He'll probably speak better than the other two

i think it’ll be really interesting . I’d say he’s probably more intelligent than them and From what you read of his history and quack profiles I don’t think lying ,if that’s what was required, would present him with a moments pause .

However he won’t be able to say he wasn’t told so can’t avoid a question with that stock bluster , he isn’t used to public speaking and those profiles we’ve read and what we’ve seen may well Indicate an overinflated idea of self worth and that seldom goes well when being questioned . I also think his character may make him difficult to empathise with and if you’re telling your story , your ‘truth ‘ , you Want people to get onboard with it and with you and I think that may present real problems for him .

whatever else this is and however much of a distraction it is from the real world and the serious problems in it I think it’ll be compelling viewing .

Went for a two hour walk through London parkland this morning, everybody obeying social distancing. Nobody sitting on benches, runners moving off paths to let others go past.

While there will always be people who disregard the rules or the safety of others the positive outlook is that the vast majority of people are living very differently to continue saving lives.

London movement yesterday up to 18%, Manchester 14%. For comparison Paris at 37% and Seoul at 35%.

A really good assessment. I suspect that the mere idea that he's got to address the public will probably at a minimum irritate him and will he be able to manage this?

From many accounts, he takes great pleasure from toying with the press when they do approach him, but here he's got to come across as sincere and honest.

They obviously do believe it's a growing storm if they're forcing him to stand up and be questioned in the open; I hope his disdain will overwhelm him on live TV.

However, he's by all accounts a very, very clever man, so who we'll see if he can (in cricket analogy) stay the crease long enough to then hit a six.
