people should have safe sex by taking the condom off and rubbing sandpaper on their knobs

At last, a kindred spirit !

Not a chance, he'll be breast feeding.

Thus proving he's an enormous tit.

The AG everyone...

Protecting family is now an acceptable reason to disregard all Coronavirus legislation.

Looks like they've all decided to make this their hill to die on.

You see this is clever though.

they are making the debate about whether he was just being a good dad or not.

it should be about why no10 knew about it but didn’t anything about it. There are fundamental flaws in this government and its decision making process if they allow this.

By making the debate around whether or not it was morally right or wrong it shifts the focus off the government itself. It allows turn to sack him and move on.

It shouldn’t be about Cummings at all. It should be about the cover up and the poor decision making.

At the very least the government need to clarify what parents can/cannot do with their kids if they start to feel ill with symptoms. Given the 30% false negatives even if you take a PCR test it isn’t a certainty that you don’t have it.

There are going to be lots of single parents who are struggling with what to do with their kids - is it safe/OK to hand them off to the ex or the parents?

Well if he's a good dad, then he's a poor son.

It’s not even vaguely clever mate, it’s transparent deflection that’s designed to try and alter the narrative.

It’s already failed, and there’s going to be some epic back peddling in the coming days as this story develops.

And presumably clarify what 'protection of family' means in these circumstances.

This is why it is shameless and disgusting that the government are defending Cummings.

Boy, 13, who died alone with coronavirus.

The family of a London teenager who died alone after testing positive for Covid-19 can't attend his funeral after two of his siblings began displaying symptoms.

Ismail Mohamed Abdulwahab, 13, from Brixton, died at King's College Hospital in London on Monday and is believed to be the UK's youngest victim of coronavirus.

The teenager will be buried in Brixton on Friday without his family present as his mother and six siblings have now been forced to self-isolate.

Actually, there could be something a bit more sinister happening here - the full @davek theory.

Mary Wakefield's story about Cummings and C-19 is that he said "I feel bad" and essentially collapsed into bed straightaway. Reasonable - the illness is vicious.

But even C-19 suffers - not the asymptomatic ones - would find a drive of London to Durham almost an impossible physical ask, and let's be honest, incredibly dangerous with a child in the back. Both parents were unwell (as per Wakefield) - what if they swerved? What if they got halfway and couldn't physically drive any longer?

Or - and to return to the @davek theory - what if Dominic The Great Lad wasnt actually sick at any point, and was driving up for his Mum's birthday (also April, btw)?
