The food at McDonalds is truly awful, what is wrong with people?
Nothing wrong with McDonald’s ffs.
Thing in the Economist today saying that one of the most vulnerable sectors across Europe is abattoirs, due both to the nature of the work but also the typical profile of person that works there. I appreciate the meat content of the typical McDonalds burger is negligible, but it might not be a bad idea to cut down on meat for a bit nonetheless.
It was after they hacked his CV and found out that his degree in Political Science from the University of Bridlington wasn’t all that it seemed.

Well we have many more ventilators and ICU beds, plus they have this new breathing apparatus that the Formula 1 guys help develop. Then there is the much increased testing capabilities. Then there is the new TTI system being introduced. Plus the plans to quarantine new arrivals to the UK. They will have had time to buildup stocks of the right type of PPE and there will be better protection of the care homes. Also the most at risk have already been identified and isolated
I’ll eat it if it’s still a necessity or if it’s the easiest option to do so, but queuing up for ages (some reports of over an hour) to get it is baffling.

I agree. But the point I think the poster was making is that everyone has different tastes and preferences. And that to judge somebody because they have different tastes to you could be considered elitist.
Personally I wouldn't go near the place never mind queue up. But I guess a lot of people will have kids who have been cooped up for weeks and looking forward to having a Big Mac as a treat.
