6-12 months before I’m back in the office
All I've been told is WFH for the "foreseeable future". Who knows how long that is.
I'm definitely missing the office though, will be very glad to go back soon

Sweden are adopting Johnson's preferred way of dealing with the virus. Just imagine how much more 'successful' with that he'd have been than the Swedes. We could have been on the way to half a million deaths by now.Sweden always thought to be easily the worst performing country in Europe when all factors are included, now has had it confirmed - overtaking the UK, Italy and Belgium to have the highest number of deaths per capita in the world.

‘This is really interesting.’
Overall, the UK government was right in thinking that lockdown compliance would reduce over time. But the critical error it made was thinking that this would be because of people getting tired of the rules. This prompted the government to delay the lockdown, most likely further lowering the perceived risk and so making it less likely that people would stick with the guidelines once they were implemented, as well as yielding a further erosion of trust.
Perhaps this decision was taken due to trust levels already being low. According to the World Governance Indicators, perceptions of UK government effectiveness have been declining since 2015, and since 2017 have been at the lowest levels ever since the first year of reporting – 1996. But whatever the reason, it seems that an incomplete understanding of human behaviour has informed the UK’s pandemic response.
Ha. Why did I put my bit in quotes and not the article. Idiot.‘This is really interesting.’

I know people are annoyed with the Lockdown and just want to get back to something resembling normality, but would you actually join a que for a McDonald's drive tru? A few of them opened today and there was chaos, the cops had to be called because the que went around the carpark out the entrance to the carpark down the road and out onto a dual carriageway. Some people are just pure idiots.
Bit late to the party on this thread but I saw something very similar when the Starbucks drive-thru on the East Lancs / Windle Island junction reopened last week. Huge queue that the idiots had formed on the wrong side of the road backing out of the Starbucks and petrol station and causing issues on the big junction between the East Lancs and Rainford there.
And people could see this but were still attempting to join the queue.
Is it just me who has the urge to punch people like that in the face?
They are that committed to getting the economy restarted.I saw that myself, but was completely unaware of what it was, I thought there`d been an accident !
Why on earth would you spend hours in a queue just to get a cup of coffee, when you could probably make a better one at home lol

Social media is awash with photographs of busy beaches yesterday. Most will probably have socially distanced, but I'd get guess that a fair few won't have. They will be first against the wall when I am ruler of the world.
People like that are dangerous. I can cope with stupid people who are genuinely thick. These people look and sound like normal people but are incredibly stupid yet also worryingly self righteous. Basically the worst kind of people.
