Haha, so the bloke's constant stream of negativity is just a coincidence? I know a few people at NHSX and they won't be messing this up on purpose. Most have been in the NHS for a long time, and I'm sure they'll appreciate the constant criticism on social media from people who largely have no idea what they're talking about.
I understand what you say but most people are reacting not with glee at this ongoing mess but with frustration at a government that is completely unable to deliver on its 'plans' and promises.

Perhaps try posting each supposed failure of the state with a bit less relish. Unless you get a kick out of bashing the NHS?
to be fair to the poster, at no point during that post has he implicated the NHS. It’s firmly directed at the government and to me seems to be about false promises.

I’ve seen very little (if any NHS bashing). I think it’s ok to have a go at the manager without blaming the players.

Who is blaming NHSX, except for the Tories in a couple of weeks when the app doesn’t live up to their promises? In fact is it that implausible to suggest that ministers and SPADs might have been busily demanding repeated changes to the app, leading to these delays?

The failures we are seeing seem to come, directly or indirectly, from the leadership. That is what should be criticised because they’ve been awful.

Today they say their plan was to protect the nhs and hospitals over care homes. Yesterday they said they'd put a ring of steel around care homes from day one. What kind of coordinated effort is this? Johnson has lost the dressing room.

It wouldn't be the internet unless most people insisted on having the most polarised opinions.

Everything is either abysmal, and could not possibly be worse. Or everything is absolutely perfect and could not possibly be any better.

There's no in between position for lots. Any mistakes made are conspiracies or any things done well are the greatest achievements ever seen by man.

If I worked in the health service I wouldn't go anywhere near social media these days.

which is ironic because something else they’ve done is threaten NHS employees for posting about their experiences on social media

I beg your pardon. The person at the head of the Health and Social Care, Hancock, is the one bashing the NHS i.e health and social care for all with his incompetence. To imply I'm 'relishing' his failure is beyond words. I've worked in the care sector for ages so don't attempt to make it appear I'm 'relishing' failure that has led to suffering. Those on the front line of health and social know where the failure lies and are speaking out due to the unnecessary lose of life.

Too right. They don't even read was on the tin, Department of Health and Social Care. Care homes, care in the community are part of the NHS so they weren't protecting the NHS, they've let it down badly.

People just don’t like us questioning the government. They jump trough hoops to try and defend them in which ever way they can.

I was warned on another forum for apparently making everything political and I see the same happening on here.

Unbelievable, 'the making everything political' jibe is an attempt to shut down debate because they don't like was being said.

I dunno the structures in place, but I would hope there are good official channels where staff can voice their concerns.

Should obviously be allowed to say what they want online, but I'm just not a fan of twitter at all. I try to only use it for football news. It's probably much more effective to go through official sources or straight to elected reps etc

That's a basic trust policy. A Czech nurse from, I think Imperial, gave interviews to the Czech media where the situation was described in terms that would make Florence Nightingale flinch. Any organisation of note will have social media policies for staff, just as many will have whistle-blower policies. The NHS is no exception.
