COVID police reporting advice:

Thought I’d see if the opinions on here marry up with mine. Basically a friend of mine flat shares and the person she shares the flat with regularly has her gf come round to stay by falsely abusing the regulation that says you can move to a friends house for a few days after an argument to “cool off”. They see each other outside the flat without social distancing and go to their parents houses etc.

I said they should definitely tell the police because they’ve asked them to stop bringing that person round but keep saying it’s a cooling off period.

Am I right/wrong?

I wouldn’t bother wasting police time.

I know of a house that has held two parties in the last week and the police didn’t even turn up when notified.

I wasn’t expecting the police to do anything but I also wouldn’t feel comfortably just sitting there and watching people risk the lives of others and me(flat mate). Imagine passing it on in a shop to someone thanks to them?

It's hard to imagine this whole thing being handled worse. Everyday brings another major error. Must come a point when even the tories run out of lies and nonsense to cover themselves. We only have to refer to Johnsons antics (and lack of) since February to highlight how shoddy they truly are. There isnt a leader amongst them.

I dont think it's a post that relishes any failures that cost more lives. I'd say it's more like a post that is a reaction to how the Tories have made stuff up and boasted to cover up their many failures throughout this. If the consequences weren't so tragic the government incompetence since February would be hysterically amusing.

Haha, so the bloke's constant stream of negativity is just a coincidence? I know a few people at NHSX and they won't be messing this up on purpose. Most have been in the NHS for a long time, and I'm sure they'll appreciate the constant criticism on social media from people who largely have no idea what they're talking about.
