My point is our government has messed some stuff up badly. People are going over the top though. Pretty much every European country has handled their care homes really badly. Yet, you'd come on here and think it's just us.

Likewise with PPE, we have had supply issues. Every country has had supply issues.

Yet people still act as if every other country is fine.

There's a lot of things the government deserves stick for, but it needs to be balanced.

How did that Turkey PPE turn out that our RAF was scrambled to fetch?
And it's ok this week to again compare ourselves to others countries... Hopefully we will have a nice little graph at tomorrow's virus briefing that explains this ring of protection round our care homes that Johnson and Hancock were blithering on about weeks ago.

Not every country tho is it mate, Germany have managed quite well, why are we not allowed to hold our Government up to as higher standard as Germany?

Why should we shrug and say "Most other countries have morons in charge".

Germany are dealing with it better than other countries in Europe but as the article above shows, they're not dealing with it perfectly either.

You can't expect every government to get everything right during a world pandemic, which is what some people are doing on here.

I agree on them messing up the Turkey PPE and about care homes. Sending patients back to homes untested is beyond stupid.

People calling the goverment murderers is just stupid though. @davek didn't take the virus seriously from the start, yet he goes round calling the goverment murderers for being as stupid as he is.

And yet people saying stuff like that expect their arguments to be taken seriously?

Don't remember the date however, Johnson told us in early March that we would be OK because “we already have a fantastic NHS, fantastic testing systems and fantastic surveillance of the spread of disease”... 20,000 deaths we were told would be a good result, we are officially over 35,000+ dead!

Calling the Government murderers, or voting for them... I'll be the hangman of a guilty Government and it's ideologies.

COVID police reporting advice:

Thought I’d see if the opinions on here marry up with mine. Basically a friend of mine flat shares and the person she shares the flat with regularly has her gf come round to stay by falsely abusing the regulation that says you can move to a friends house for a few days after an argument to “cool off”. They see each other outside the flat without social distancing and go to their parents houses etc.

I said they should definitely tell the police because they’ve asked them to stop bringing that person round but keep saying it’s a cooling off period.

Am I right/wrong?

I’d definitely tell my friend to GET A GRIP and chill out about the whole situation.
