Impressive but feels way to big brother for me that like.

If its people getting in contact to say they were in those bars around that time fair enough but it doesnt sit right that the government knows exactly who is where at every moment.

Certainly our one!

Another smart move from the very smart Government ;)

One of the things that does my head in the most at the moment is how loads of journalists are trying to cover themselves against the charge that they are mere propagandists at the moment. Just because the article contains some mild criticisms doesn't mean you get to come out with a headline like that, or excuse away the failings.

So Watching Marr 3,000 excess unexplained deaths a week where covid isn’t being put down . Its question of whether they’re under diagnosis or ‘collateral damage ‘ .

Apologies for the capitalisation but Care home deaths are apparently running at THREE times the normal rate and more than HALF of them are not being labelled as Covid .

as a statistician spiegelhalter is actually fascinating

It's giving people room to do whatever they want while the government says it's purely local decision making rather than national policy.

So businesses open, offices open, parks open and if there is a new spike, which the government are hoping there won't be, but there probably will be; the government can say it wasn't national policy, when the 'official Government line' is stay home where you can.

It certainly makes today’s offering from Dan Hodges in the MoS seem even more absurd than it read earlier, which is remarkable because of how absurd it is.

It's a leaf out of Trump's book; placing the burden onto individual governors of states to make the decision on what level of lockdown they go for.

FFS, this country is tiny in comparison; if it makes no sense over there it definitley makes no sense here.

A coward's trick from an irresponsible government who have now unofficially given up on controlling this virus.

Well the Government messaging has gone from red stay at home messages to green stay alert. It's everything back to normal now...
