You're wrong in yoking two issues together.

How? They’re interlinked. The CCP covered up the virus and censored anyone speaking out about it long before the first official case. Our government locked-down too late, didn’t get the PPE and has in general made a mess of the whole thing. They’re both as guilty as eachother.

In another thread you’ve just said the tories are committing crimes against humanity, yet you don’t think this of the CCP? This is why I suggest you go and read about the CCP and their response to the virus, as well as other things going on in China.

You`re wasting your time mate.

He has an agenda and conveniently turns a blind eye to things like the fact that over a million Uighur Muslims are in CCP " re education " camps for no other crime than being Muslim.

I used to think it was wummery on a grand scale, but I`m not so sure any more, as his levels of hypocrisy are off the scale.

The Chinese treatment of Africans during the COVID-19 crisis has been appalling. Chinese people being picked on over here is appalling. You get discrimination on every nation on earth and they should all be called out on it. Being selective just shows people up as being bigoted.

You may as well start talking about the French and Italian failure to get on top of their outbreaks, which seem to be as much (probably more) pertinent as the source of our infection as any connection to Wuhan.

The evidence is now strongly that there were multiple sources for the virus. The jig is up for the Chinese explanation. That orthodoxy is in bits.

There’s been confirmation that there was a case in December in France. That’s it.

There were doctors saying it was in China long before then who were censored by your beloved CCP.

Obviously not good news for S Korea, however, look how decisive the action is here. No fannying around. Compare that to what we're seeing in the UK then look at the respective countries' infection/death toll and rate.

NIGHT AND DAY
A blip. And they'll batter it back again.

I used this
and regarding what @Harryflashman posted, a bloke on another forum has heard that a care home in Hoylake lost all it’s residents. He’s got family that work in care, I’ve not seen it in the news.

I heard this from quite a reliable source the other day, not all the residents but a Large number of deaths . It’s clearly the same home.

'won a war'
People are celebrating an end of the war.

Unless you were actually there, you have absolutely no idea what people were thinking at the time. I'm old enough to have grown up with people who went through it. My parents fought in the war as did many aunts and uncles. My grandparents lived through it. The one thing they all have in common is that they never ever spoke about it, not in detail anyway. They spoke about things like rationing but never the violence or the killing, even if asked about it. To insinuate that they were celebrating the war, and that they in some way actually enjoyed it, which is what you are doing, is quite simply sickening and has absolutely no substance to it other than your own warped opinion.

People at the time were celebrating that the war was over, that the killing was over, and that their lives could hopefully start the long road of returning to some sort of normality. People now are remembering that occasion. You can either join in that celebration or you don't. It's your choice. It seems to be completely lost on you that the right of choice you have is actually because of the events that happened 75 years ago.

As regards Germany, they too were celebrating yesterday. They were celebrating both the end of the war and also being released from the tyranny that was the Nazi party.

A truly backward nation.

They are becoming a largely un-Christian nation also. People like her are a lot more Old Testament than New Testament. An eye for an eye rather than turn the other cheek, I am a jealous god etc. versus God is love. An absolute stain on humanity with no apparent understanding of the religion they are suppose to believe in

Just awful. I know places like Salford have been badly hit also...the region's worst hit town in fact.
Anywhere near an airport or a seaport has anyone looked at the death figures there - hence the belated lockdown rumoured testing will be done next week - plus isolation for non key workers coming in ?
they reckon over 3000 per day have been coming in untested......since our lockdown .....
