Part of that article was mentioned in the report on the BBC site earlier in the week relating the French discovering it in the blood of a pneumonia patient on Dec 27th.

It`s looking more and more likely that it`s been us for a lot longer than originally thought.

Just thinking out loud, in view of this, could this be the second wave we are now experiencing ?

Its getting mentioned week after week on here.

"Something" odd was experienced by plenty on here around that time of last year.

when I look back the more I wonder if I had a bout of it. I had a couple of nights where I was waking up and sweating like a pig, aching from the joints, the other thing I had though that makes me think it wasn’t was I couldn’t get of the bog, I have never been the toilet so much. Within three days or so apart from still feeling a bit crappy I was back to normal.

A few days later my missus was the same, we just put it down to a bug that was going round

My step dad had flu symptoms and diareah he phoned 111 and they said that's not a symptom of Covid phone your GP, the GP receptionist said phone 111 by the end of the week he was breathless, 111 said phone your GP so I took him to Aintree hospital as an ambulance was over 1 hour wait, he had pneumonia and tested positive for Covid

So more than likely you probably had it but luckily got over it before it developed to pneumonia, my step dad is OK now

We cant do what they're doing because we have terrible leadership. I have no confidence whatsoever in what they tell us. I think that feeling is rife.
Dave the British people and to a lesser extent the irish people have been taking the mick with the lockdowns compared to other European countries
In fact they were not even proper lockdowns

I didnt have the aches and sweating. But the bog issue was with me for a few days. Thing is, it was just after Mrs R had had her cardiacs, so I put it down to being literally Bricking It.

Glad it turned out okay for your step dad mate. The worrying thing is him getting passed back and forth with phone calls.

A second more deadly wave after a mutation? I've got no science to back that up by the way, rather pure conjecture.

Makes you wonder if they didnt really have a full list of symptoms doesnt it?

Like at first it was the new cough and a fever. Then they included sore throats. Then they included the squits. The taste and smell thing as well.

Yeah that's something that concerned me, I wonder how many might of died at home by believing they never had it because they was told their symptoms don't match, even my mum said that if it was her she probably wouldn't have went to hospital thinking she's being a hindrance in a time of need for the NHS, I think the symptoms have since been updated though, not sure like

Problem is so many symptoms are that of mild conditions like a cold, chest infection, flu so I get completely why people wouldnt bother with being carted away to hospital by blokes wearing hazmat suits unless their condition seemed serious like struggling to breathe.
