You do know that tobacco is grown around the world , so has nothing to do with America ?

Or that alcohol is brewed around the world and therefore not solely exclusive to Russia?

Two similar respiratory viruses however both originated the same way in the same country in not even the last 20 years.

Mate literally the same type of virus in the same place in a very similar way (given they still don't know for sure about Sars but attribute it the same way as now).

Throw all the excuses you want at it and try and reason away the simple fact. But the fact is, it's not a coincidence.

I’ve explained that it’s due to the type of bat and the type of virus.

Hope she fully recovers soon mate and in the meantime that you both self isolate whilst waiting for the results. Did you not request a test too? Given there appears to be spare capacity in testing it would have made sense to do so

I haven’t yet, we’re in Australia so the chances of her having it are pretty low, if hers comes back positive, then I’ll automatically be tested anyway. We are already isolating hopefully we’ll find out tomorrow, I’ll be staying off work until we get the results

No. Actually it’s nothing to do with eating bats.

Well I agree that eating the bats isn’t the cause of the virus. That said having the bats they eat by the other live stock creates an opportunity for virus to crossover to other animals an then humans. I don’t blame the Chinese a epidemic can start anywhere but them wet markets aren’t a help in trying to prevent an pandemic.
