Re the domestic abuse/social worker/ppe thing from yesterday, the director of nursing has told community staff they've got to continue visiting families where domestic violence is suspected. Usually social workers would go along too, so there's a degree of safety in numbers (and often they would try and do the visit when the abuser is out), but of course, social workers aren't doing anything because they lack ppe, and the abuser is highly likely to be home due to lockdown. Not sure that's been thought through, sending a 50kg woman into a home with a violent man. Great

Covid should not be posting the numbers it is compared to it's 95%+ genetic brother SARS, SARS infected 8000 and killed 800.

Several Corona viruses have gone before but this strain is on another planet with regards to infecting and killing.

There is something not right with Covid-19.

This is why the “lab escape” theory should be questioned. Is it possible CV escaped from a lab? Yes.

However as you are showing the actual theory is that it was manufactured, which is not supported by any evidence.

I have no idea and my post about local peoples opinion may shed no light on things. I'm just reporting that a number of highly educated Chinese people within my circle believe it is definitely from a laboratory. Whether it escaped or was leaked out is the only thing they are questioning.

The US intelligence community came out only yesterday to state that they agree with the "wide scientific consensus" regarding Covid-19's natural origins.

Trump came out and sparked a debate with a counter comment, but he talked about ingesting bleach so he probably believes Apollo 13 brought back cheese.

The last time I checked HIV wasn't manufactured and nor was the Bubonic Plague, Spanish-Flu (H1N1), Small Pox, Ebola or even Malaria.

For Gods sake. The fact this virus is more virulent than other coronaviruses does not prove anything that you’re trying to claim.

Very primitive medical practices compared to today, the modern world has never seen a flu virus like Covid, there were estimates this week that it could kill upto 3m if it spreads to third-world economies.
