My store can now add part baked bread onto the items that have been panic bought out of stock.

We have two HGV lorries full of stock waiting to be unloaded and put onto the shelves, but cos you are all panicking we are having to use staff that would usually be stocking the shelves to serve you on the tills.

FFS.

Ah, of course, forgot you were in Germany. No idea what the government response was there, but you probably do have a point, as I saw something in the Standard a few weeks into February saying around half of those they surveyed still weren't washing their hands etc, which ties into what the bloke on R4 said this morning, that the shutting of sporting events wasn't done for practical reasons, but to get people doing the basics by telling them "this is serious, stop being a [Poor language removed]"
Do find it curious why there is a suddenness of hot water available in various supermarkets toilet's and public toilets for the first time in years... It's a bit of shock not being met with icy blast of water.

Keep your distance, preferably 2 meters from anyone is displaying symptoms.

Wash your hands for 20 seconds and utilise any hand sanitiser if possible after touching anything outside of the home

And that is how you stop the spread

But what about my mate who works with a girl who knows a kid whose dad went to italy last month?

Yeah to be honest up until a few days ago I didn't really know what their response was either. Then there were things going around social media saying we're on the same trajectory as Italy just 10 days behind. Not sure how true that is but it was enough to scare me into being more careful. Germany has been a bit quicker to shut down big events than the UK, not sure if just to scare people or not.
