The Boris Wing of Tommy's was looking fine this morning.

Rest of the south bank was deserted though

But it is true.

There's no chance the mortality rate of this thing is actually 15%, mate, when there's evidence between 70% and 80% of people don't show symptoms.

Not saying we've all had it and you're absolutely right, but at the same time it'd be really daft to think there's not millions more people who have had this than the figures show.
You are right BT. But even if as many as 6,000,000 in the UK have had it, that's still only less than 10% of the population. Nowhere near the herd immunity levels that Sweden claim they are approaching.

The simple fact is ALL of it is guesswork, whether educated or not. Until a reliable antibody test is rolled out in sufficient numbers it will remain guesswork

Interesting chat with my Da this morning who works for a company that maintains a lot of Unilever buildings across the globe. Apparently Unilever have said that this has shown them that home working is far more viable than thought, likely will reduce size of buildings and also conduct more meetings via electronic methods going forward. If it’s a trend that continues and spreads the value of commercial properties could massively shrink over the next few years, as well as travel between sites.
It's always been a trust issue. However, much easier to check on people these days with internet. Wonder how many new home workers have informed there ISPs they are now requiring business service, there may be provision. However, they used to drop support if they suspected work was being done on home broadband contract.

70-80% of people who have it could be asymptomatic according to some studies mate - but ones governments have quoted.

That's a lot of people.

Again not saying everyone has had it and it could be the flu, mate. Well aware and we cannot be making assumptions.

But it's clearly key to have these (reliable) anti-body tests too isn't it. So we can tell.

That 70 - 80 percent (if correct) is of an unknown number of people though, seeing as we actually have no idea how many have had it.

Aren't most estimates putting the mortality at around 2%?

If that's true around 20,000 deaths in hospitals. I think I heard they reckon about 50% are happening in cares homes so let's guess 10,000 roughly.

If mortality rate is around 2% then 50*30,000 = 1,500,000 infected people across the UK.

Not really that high a percentage 'if' the mortality estimate is anywhere near true,
