Personally find it hard not to draw conclusions on their data myself especially when compared to their nearest neighbors. For context Norway and Finland combined have about the same population as Sweden

Ironic that they closed Ikea in the UK pretty sharpish.

Fair enough. I've read a lot of articles / listened to a lot of shows where Sweden's approach has been lauded as being more liberal.

Maybe it's semantics then and me not understanding what 'liberal' truly means.

I think in this case liberal means "to slaughter your population".

I usually associate the word with rampant individualism and not giving a flying one for anyone but yourself, even to the extent of doing your own stuff and not caring if your actions harm others.

There's a lot of that about, as well as the spirit of collectivism we've seen.

That sort of liberalism is the enemy of civilisation.

These terms, Liberalism Socialism and Conservatism etc. Have different connotations in different countries, it's very British to apply the Anglo English definition to everything, up the Empire and all that.

The questions are fine and need answering. The problem with the media in these briefings is that the dont stick together and demand straight answers, they let the liars off the hook.

Not comparing like with like. Sweden has a small and well dispersed population. UK has a large population of high density. Also there are reports of unease among the older generation people there. I understand all that, I just find it fascinating that for weeks now their daily Death numbers...

Indeed, rampant individualism ever since the curiously named 'The Orange Book reclaiming Liberalism'. Certainly applies to our lot.
