That vid of those dolts on Westminster Bridge has got me.

I'm all for helping the NHS and if clapping for a few seconds on a Thursday does that - not sure it does, but I get that it shows support - so be it.

I was out on a quick walk at the time last night, such a lovely time of evening to go and it just chills you out - nicer not been able to see anyone, tbf - so I did a little clap as I was walking up the street when I heard all of the pans and pots being banged etc.

Saw a few people on their drives and stuff and talking across the street but no big groups. But then when you get back in and see those videos, and another one of loads of people gathered outside hospitals and stuff, it just makes me think what's the point. Does the virus take Thursday evenings off? Maybe we can start having all of our events on Thursdays at 8? Every night is a Europa League night and all that.

Tbf it is the Coronavirus thread, and there isn't exactly a huge amount else to talk about. Personally, I'm enjoying my isolation, my missus and I are spending lots of good time together. I'm making a computer game, reading books, listening to the Hardcore Histories podcast, painting Warhammer and, most of all, recording music again, which I haven't done in years. I'm properly geared up for a global crisis like this, it's the ones where I'd have to go out and exercise that I'm worried about.

No, they'll prove the virus had been genetically modified, the genome sequence has already been studied by leading scientists around the world, there are signs it's been modified, there are parts of other viruses in it like HIV.

China are in cover up mode, they won't release samples to the Amercians because they know the truth of its origins lies in those samples.

Any credible sources to support that, mate?

We've probably got 8 months or so more of this stuff, plus the inevitable fallout that will result from it even once a vaccine is available. I know it's huge. Every bugger knows its huge. Just tired of logging online every day and being overwhelmed with the latest new way to explain just how crap it is, or how rubbish the government is, or how we'd all be okay if we were only a bit more like the Germans or the Koreans or whoever. Is it going to be like this for the next several months or might we have the occasional day off and try and remember what it was like to have some joy in life?

This is affecting everyone, and 99.9999% of people have no real health issues at all, so it seems maintaining morale is as worthy a pasttime as ever right now.

True but everyone hanldes it differently and I think most people are worried about family members and\or friends that do. Agree about social media being bad for peoples mental health.
