The NHS doesn’t act as one, does it? You’re talking about a huge organisation there.

If you think it’s impossible for a cover up to take place, that’s up to you. I’d like to have your faith in a government but forgive me if I don’t whilst we’re stirring down the barrel of a National catastrophe that has been made all the worse by this current government’s lack of funding for the public sector.

This current government has stated many times that whatever the NHS wants they will get. This current government is racking up debt to pay for it, pay for businesses, pay for workers. By all means have a go at Boris for being an irresponsible spendthrift, but do not charge him with not spending the money. Which btw, you will be paying for.....

One post you made, I use the term loosely, I said I could just imagine, the star spangled banner, playing behind you, as you typed it. Don't ask me to find, a certain post about BJ, you have wrote so many singing his virtues, it would be like finding a needle in a haystack ! Admit it Pete, you love him and if you met him, you would personally give him his initials, there and then. lol

If it happens at work though and everyone gets an alert, that is every one of those people self-isolating and waiting for a test. Some of the buildings in London that house government departments, the emergency services, the military and so on have hundreds / thousands of people working there, many of whom who could concievably get alerts.

Without an idea who has generated the alert, you'd have loads of people self-isolating at the same time which could wreck those departments at a time when we really need for that not to happen. It would also generate vast amounts of tests and further work that might never need to have been done.

There is no reason to know who generated the alert, obviously that person would have tested positive or had a high exposure already for you to get an alert.

With all due respect mate genuinely, I’d get used to the feeling of disbelief, it’s a brave new world out there, ive been going in and out to work during all of this, it’s not how it was before lockdown, nor is it going to be, this is happening already.

I can have a coffee with a colleague tomorrow, then in 7 days time they could have tested positive for the virus, they trace me internally and I go on self isolation and get tested. This is what it’s like out there. This is healthcare at the moment, the most critical industry right now, whole clinical teams are getting wiped out.

Things aren’t going back to how they were before lock down, definitely don’t expect it.

Clearly not with the Minister for Heath at loggerheads with the Chief of Nursinrg for overusing PPE.

Also, I’m scratching my head with how you can praise them in one breath and then say I’ll be paying for it in the next. You’re right, I will, with massive tax increases no doubt whilst their corporate mates profit from the collapse.

I wrote some with humour, the one you referred to, I even said If you listened you could hear violins.....however, I will admit that of all the PM’s and Party leaders of the past 25 years, in this country and beyond, he is the one I would most enjoy having a pint with.....

It‘s a case of availability of kit not money that is the issue.

I am praising them for doing exactly what you would have wanted Labour to do, spend loads of money. And yes, you very definitely will be paying for it.....
