Your defence of them, while completely misplaced, is still commendable ......they could be Politically aligned, economically aligned, militarily aligned and all speak the same language...and France and Germany would still screw the rest of them......
Amazing how you can simultaneously maintain, that the 2 largest fiscal contributors to the bloc, are also the ones who are ‘screwing over the others’, whilst holding the position that the U.K. as the former 3rd highest contributor, was being anally abused by the entire bloc.

Stunning.

The idea that the WHO is somehow inside the pocket of the Chinese authorities pocket is just another bizarre fabrication floating around online, spawned from nothing more than the fact, that the WHO praised China's handling of the crisis, in direct opposition to rising anti-Chinese sentiment (especially for the Chinese government), often subliminal in the mainstream media, but highly vocal/toxic on social media.

People, especially those driving the narrative, don't want to hear that, as praise, and not blame, shifts attention away from the 'foreign enemy' and onto their own handling of the crisis. Which is what people in the UK and especially the US should be worried about now...

What's really worrying is these are the very tactics of totalitarian regimes, not supposedly freedom loving democracies, and it is aspiring dictatorships who love to generate as much chaos, economic instability (for the anger), and vengeful xenophobia as possible.

The WHO praised China, because a harmonious cooperation between both parties is to the benefit of the mission/mankind but also because the extremely aggressive measures the Chinese authorities put in place, worked. Had China refused to even test people, while publically declaring it to be a harmless case of the sniffles, I don't think the WHO would have been quite so gushing.

People call the WHO every name under the sun, when actually unlike all of us, these are the people who are actually doing something to stop this virus spreading.

Absolute drivel.

As for the last part, if they were serious about stopping the spread of the virus they'd have been far stronger in the early outset when it was clear that this disease was a serious problem.

China did start to take action, but only a month late.

Not that holy then.

He really really truly cares about the American people. It's been so obvious for so long.
Trump thinks he can pretend everything is just peachy like he did with Puerto Rico. That might be somewhat harder this time, for instance Pence and Pompeo were at this event as were lots of other politicians. Perhaps when they realise that they have a good chance of catching it they will care about the rest of us.

I feel like he's HAD to have had a stroke in the past. Who, on EARTH, describes anything the way he does as "beautiful"?? And he's done it DOZENS of times!
He’s just as thick as mince, he’s also quite obviously suffering from early stage dementia imho. Drugged to the eyeballs.

The WHO and China are in bed together (based entirely upon the fact that the WHO praised China's handling of the crisis) and I'm talking drivel!

As I have seen and lived under the measures put in place (and I am certainly no communist) in China, I know exactly why the WHO has praised the Chinese government, not because they have been bribed (is that what you are saying?) but because the WHO's mandate, is to stop the spread of contagions like this one.

Whatever you think about the Chinese government, and the mistakes or conditions that led to the outbreak itself, it cannot be argued they didn't do a good job of containing the spread of the virus within China. I have seen this for myself.

Every country that has, and will suffer an outbreak did, or will also deal with the problem, at least a month too late as well. America at this rate, looks like it will be about 3 months too late...

As yet, no country has been bold enough to take preventative measures before the virus actually breaks out.

Viral outbreaks of this nature can never be truly contained, merely delayed.

The US stopped flights, how’s that worked out?
