Milwall had this mad idea. On the left hand side, they let a right footed player take free kicks and corners. On the right hand side they let a left footed player take free kicks and corners. This sent the ball towards the goal and gave them a chance to score. This was a radical idea :rant::rant:

I think our first corner outswung to the extent that they had a corner within 10 seconds.

I honestly think I could do a better job. "You,biggest centre half, you mark their biggest attacking threat. You, other centre half, you mark the 2nd biggest attacking threat. You, full backs, 1 on the front post, 1 on the back. Everyone else, pick up your opposite number. Then once you've headed it, get out quickly and you, goalie, once it's headed up, you move up the pitch so if they head it back in you can come and catch it".

If we are going to defend zonally, then here’s an idea - have someone defending the centre of our goal, 5 yards out.

Every man and his dog knew how Millwall play. They had a player with the best stats for scoring and assisting from set pieces in Europe (probably), I was so sure he’d score I put money on it and won.

The smart man would’ve put Mina/Zouma (our biggest centrebacks) on him at every set piece, but no not us.
