He's got the right character, you rarely see him put a foot wrong and he seemingly doesn't sulk when it's not going his way. If the contract's not ridiculous then it's a no brainer for a bit of depth and the right attitude in and around the place.

I've been on the fence about him but on balance I think we should try to keep him. His leadership is massive, and, as with England, is an asset even if he doesn't play. We're losing good characters in Mina and Townsend and possibly Coleman so maybe we need Coady around. The question though is whether it's what he wants as he's not had much of a look in under Dyche.If the finances allow it, I'd keep him. Think not just on the pitch but his attitude will be missed in the dressing room next year.
