Its you that made the connection, Matty. Have a thought for all those who can't get to see Everton live for various reasons....I don't mean financial, I mean due to sickness or other personal circumstances, and if you fit and able to get to the game...for Gods sake GO TO THE GAME. Support through thick and thin....don't regret in later life that you missed being there when history was made(Its what we all want....and it happens when you least expect it.)

Mate il be back nxt season when FS has gone and it can be swept under the table he was ever our manager.

Really weird this perception that they’re all Kopites.

I used to go a lot as a kid as my old man’s been a Tranmere fan all his life, and used to take me along for Friday night football.

Almost everyone i met there was either a blue who came along on a Friday for an extra game, or supported us as their 2nd club. Hardly ever spoke to anyone with an LFC attachment.

Anyway, I’m made up they’re back in the league. Far too big and with too much support to be in the Conference.

Spoke to my dad after the match yesterday and he was absolutely in bits. He couldn’t be there (went to pretty much every game for ~50yrs but can’t anymore due to ill health).

Well played Rovers, now get yourself up another division or two.

As a kid I lived about 10 mins from the ground and used to go on Friday nights, then to the match on Saturday with my dad, brother and uncles. Could afford it back then.

Totally agree re them not being Kopites - I went as a kid on a Friday night with my uncle who lived next to Prenton Park. I remember one match, they wheeled out Gerry Marsden at half time and he started to sing YNWA and he was absolutely booed off the pitch - couldn't hear a thing. Loud chants of Everton and Tranmere.
Really glad they're back up - maybe the current Everton team should watch a replay of this match and learn about fighting spirit and never giving up.

Super Whites...isn't that their nickname. I enjoyed the game I saw there. Loads of fun in the stands and at that tiny corner pub. Glad they're back up in the League.
