Old timer Evertonians will have a soft spot for Tranmere.....always used to be Friday night at Prenton Park watching our former heroes Peter Farrell,Dave Hickson and Tom Eglington see out their playing careers at the Rovers,then GP on a Saturday for Everton. Great fun in the cow shed and some exciting, ale induced nights! Glad they're back in the league,proof that at most levels, you can get were you belong if you try hard enough. Anyone remember Jason kopite Koumas? Jumping up and down in the dressing room when Man City beat us 5-0 in 2000. A year later Tranmere won 3-0 at Goodison,full of redshite their team them,not to mention Aldo. Lost all respect for them afterwards .
