Its you that made the connection, Matty. Have a thought for all those who can't get to see Everton live for various reasons....I don't mean financial, I mean due to sickness or other personal circumstances, and if you fit and able to get to the game...for Gods sake GO TO THE GAME. Support through thick and thin....don't regret in later life that you missed being there when history was made(Its what we all want....and it happens when you least expect it.)

Anyone remember Jason kopite Koumas? Jumping up and down in the dressing room when Man City beat us 5-0 in 2000. A year later Tranmere won 3-0 at Goodison,full of redshite their team them,not to mention Aldo. Lost all respect for them afterwards .

As for Tranmere, wools and their wool behaviour can stay in the lower leagues

Slightly pleased for em, as they’ve got a decent stadium and have kept good attendances throughout their drop into non-league. The club kept ticket prices quite high, so they didn’t have to let a load of staff go, and the fans kept buying em, so fair play.

Still, closet kopites the lot of em, and would be amused if they got relegated again next season.
