CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

Moyes needs a new challenge, mostly to challenge himself and his stale, dour psychology. Great at buying and selling, he's assembled a top squad here on Kenwright spend (nil). But hasn't got a ****ing clue about his best team out of that squad, and cannot win the big one off games.

It was a one off

However in 2 replies you have mentioned American teens and American schoolgirls.

You coming over a bit Kevin Webster on us?

I don't think his victims were american mate. In fact I don't think he has any as he's a fictional character in a soap. It's nice that we've established you talk like a cheerleader and watch Corrie though.

It's lovely getting to know you.

Is it so hard to imagine another manager coming in after Moyes and getting more out of the current squad of players

Based on the evidence of the league so far... yes. You see we regularly finish above most managers in this league, there are a lot of foreign managers that come into other clubs... and we finish above them, with the exception of 5 or 6 teams who have teams that cost hundreds of millions of pounds...
Oh no not the money argument again...
Yep, because despite how often you hear it, the longer the situation of clubs spending big money compared to us selling players goes on, the more relevent it becomes.
The new guy won't just inherit the squad, he'll inherit the need to sell players and buy better ones for less money. Its more than just an inconvenience, its a monumental task to take what Moyes has done and improve it under the same restrictions.

I,l be honest I don,t know why everyone is finding this so hard to get this.

Board - nothing will change - same rules apply to the next manager and the manager after that. Glass Ceiling firmly in place for years to come whoever comes in to run the team.

Next Manager - Someone who accepts the above and won,t rock the boat, gets to 40 points every year, League position based on budget spend. Fluke a Cup if the top 4 don,t cross our path on the way to the cup or get into the Europa if a team who has a bigger budget than us slips up.

Alternative Option

New Owner of the club - brings dough - smashes the glass ceiling.

Or to put it another way - the club being run as a self funding business or being bank rolled by a benefactor.

Poor effort, sure you think that was funny though.

Anyway, back to the topic! people ****ging Moyes off have every right to of couurse, but as usual a total over reaction.

If he leaves which looks likely, he does so after turning Everton from a laughing stock into a consistent top flight side again, that should never be forgotten.

People saying we are not going to move forward under Moyes. I'm not sure if any manager could make us "move forward" as we don't have the resources. Moyes does brilliantly to make us compete and I hope he stays, but it does annoy me how he seems to think he is above Everton, he needs to win a trophy to be deemed a real success.

This.

Moyes has done wonders but lacks that push to get further. Probably another reason he gets swerved for big jobs.

But it's his ability in the transfer window and skills to get a team to compete which is his big trait.

We won't get a manager like that imo. What we will get is someone who will keep us kinda as we are now, at least top ten but with a different style of football.

We can't push on due to our finances.

However, we may drop on a a manager who can get a result where Moyes can't ie cups, derbies etc. Which could work in favour of some silverware.

Tears where literally streaming down my face as I typed. I also disagree that people are over reacting as his own caution has cost us numerous chances of silverware.
