Right on Brenn. Plently of charismatic ex-footballers who make good pundits by pointing out the obivious are failed managers.

There is so much more to management than just signing good players and picking the best XI.

Redknapp might not be a coach or tactician but Kevin Bond, Joe Jordan, Steve Cotterill and Glyn Hodges more than make up for his limitations in those departments.

Nah mate all Harry does is buy players and play them. Tubey knows this from watching Redknapp's training sessions and dressing room chats.

Posting a link to the Sun, classy.

I like how you just googled 'Redknapp tactics' and posted any random article that came up.

And drop the 'troll' s***e, it makes you look 13.

You are a troll by definition, as you aren't producing a counter discussion, you're just antagonising with zero to go with. Criticising me linking to The Sun says it all.

Your a troll, and a terrible one at that.

But, this being Redknapp, there was a story to tell too. What did he say to Pavlyuchenko at half-time? "Not a lot," said Redknapp, "he doesn't speak English, he's got an interpreter." What did he tell the interpreter? "I just told him to tell Pavlyuchenko to ****ing run around a bit. The boy himself just kept nodding his head. He might be thinking inside: 'What's this tosser saying to me?'"

It worked beautifully, however, after Jamie Carragher had scored an own goal with a misdirected header from a corner on 69 minutes to get Spurs back in the game. David Bentley's shot in injury time was well saved by Pepe Reina, but Bent cut it back across the goal and Pavlyuchenko flicked it beautifully into the far corner.

"Tactical genius".

"It's very relaxed. The gaffer gives us the line-up 20 minutes before we go out to do our warm-up. And the only words he speaks to me are: 'You play left or right, work hard, have fun and show the fans your best'.
"Then the defenders get an instruction about who to mark at corners and free-kicks - and that's it. It's not that we do nothing, but it's close to that."

- Rafael van der Vaart.

Care to admit you're wrong, troll? Nah, thought not.

Keep it up saddo.

Why are you getting so personal ? If i really was a troll i'd be a pretty successful one seeing as you're now making personal insults for no reason.

'Its not that we do nothing'

You said he just buys players and plays them, clearly he doesn't.

And i think you'll find most people would criticise linking to The Sun, for obvious reasons.

thinking about moyes saying he will see how the team does before he signs a contract. How about we will see how you do too mate. Best squad ever he said so if he can't get into Europe or win the fa cup with it when will he ever.
If he signs brilliant, if not we will move on and find someone else.

I agree mate, i dont think it'll be the end of the world if he goes. Yeah we'll take some time adjusting under a new man with different methods and philosophies but we'll be fine. One or 2 player may want to leave but not everyone, and with a bit of cash the new man may build up a decent squad and get us going all over again?!!.

Dont get me wrong, Moyesy is a great manager, but how much longer can he keep going and giving his all in our circumstances of not having much money, if any at all, and having to sell players most seasons and rebuilding all the time?. Maybe he fancies a change from that and maybe we as a club and fans need a change too, maybe we need a new man in with new ideas to see if that helps us kick on?!.

You can argue about formations, tactics and systems for ever, but to me football is fundamentally about the players.

Whether it is 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3, the numbers game is not the beautiful game in my opinion.

It’s 10 per cent about the formation and 90 per cent about the players. If you have the best ones and they do their jobs, then they can pretty much play any way you want them to.

England boss Fabio Capello experimented with a new way of playing last night, at least in the first half. Was it 4-5-1? Or 4-3-3? Does it really matter?

The above quote? Straight from Harry Redknapp.

Game, set, match. I called Redknapp tactically inept. I didn't say he was a bad manager, I just said he wasn't tactically astute, which is why he's now managing QPR and not Barcelona.

Top managers are tactically aware and can read a game and adjust accordingly.

Moyes, by that definition, is tactically inept. Not a bad manager, as he's a motivator and a genius in the transfer market, but definitely tactically inept. I've produced a lot to back up what I'm saying, you've produced utterly nothing.

And here's an article where Joe Jordan basically calls you an fool:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Redknapp-great-tactician-says-Joe-Jordan.html

I'll take my own eyes and the words of Redknapp himself before that tbh. But at least you've actually posted something.

Is it possible he's already made up his mind and is definitely leaving, but is keeping it hush hush so that it doesnt affect us during the end of the season?

I'm not sure how him saying formations generally don't matter proves he does nothing but buy players and play them.

- Harry Redknapp.

And there's a whole article where Joe Jordan says he does much more than just buy players and play them, which is exactly what you said he does. Unless you've got something from Redknapp where he says he does nothing but that, then you haven't proved anything.

Possibly?!. Cos he did say he would talk about his future some time after January and now he's changed his tune. I think he was hoping to pressure the board into supplying funds, which they did but couldnt structure the deals we wanted properly and we only ended up with Stones, which wasnt good enough for Moyes!.

So maybe he's stalling in hope one of the top four clubs will come in for him when or if they get rid of there managers?!. I definitely think that if they do come calling, he will go, definitely!.

So now we should be looking at potential replacements. Not just Martinez like the rags are reporting, although i'd be happy with that, but look at others, give ourselves options IF or when moyesy goes?!!.

Oh, you mean that article from Harry Redknapp entitled "Tactics don't win matches", the Pavlyuchenko "just run round a bit" instruction and van der Vaart being told "just play left and right and have fun" quote?

Nah, let's ignore all that, we'll go on what Joe Jordan says vaguely about how he "mentally pictures how Crouch and van der Vaart would work" once.

Get lost troll. I gave you the benefit of the doubt to see if you'd back down and admit defeat for a change, but you haven't and shown your true colours once again.
