CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

True i was a bit liberal with the truth, for example as far as I know Redknapp never came out and said "I want to be England manager" last season. Admittedly, I don't have any inside knowledge but if even half of it is true then it's still a terrible record. Maybe the Ofoe deal falling through was Brugge's fault. But I don't think it's been someone else's fault every single time things have gone wrong. There is a trend here.

As far as Saha off and Distin on, Moyes can play attacking football perfectly well when he has the players, as evidence I give you the whole of 2012. If I'm not mistaken, the only other striker we had in the squad then was Stracq...

Good point.

Nobody knows what's really going on with moyes so it's hard to make a comment currently.

For all we know moyes is dragging this on in the belief it will bring the best out of the players and it will force the board to back him properly in the summer with the potential 30M plus of money that is possibly coming into the club. Which if the case I will applaud him loudly and we will be a real force next year.

Alternatively he may well feel he's taken us as far as he can, that he see's nothing changing at board investment level and its time for him to move on. I must say I'd be very suprised if this is the case but he's entitled to make that decision.
Whether dragging it out and not stating his intentions is the correct thing to do in this scenario I'm not sure. Will only know that answer when the season ends and we can see how we'v done.

I really hope it's the first one and if fellaini is sold together with the extra tv money we finally get the chance to see moyes in action with a proper war chest I really think next season could be very special.

Well if we are playing the which manger would you like game then i would have.....wait for it........

Gary Neville and we can ask him to bring all his CLF, EPL, FAC, CC medals and he can stick them in our the dusty trophy cabinets.

Sort of and it was quite well written.

I don't beleive he has any 'inside' knowledge to know that anything he said is fact though.

And I nearly replied with:
Saha Off
Distin On

But thought better of it!

Everyone boo'd a defensive substitution very recently.. Pretty sure Heittinga scored the winner that day. I'd take Moyes subs over the notion that putting 2 up front means we score more goals and win the game.

Because Moyes knew that Heitinga was going to hit it from outside the box and score ? If it hadn't been for that moment of luck we'd have been taken to a replay. Genius sub it was not.

I would not be happy, but i have a feeling that Harry Redknapp might be the new manager. He will jump off the good ship QPR before the rats have a chance. He will not stick around when QPR are officially relegated.

It would not surprise me if he has already made contact with Kenwright already, and put the feelers out. Harry is the ultimate Merceneray, him and Kenwright will get on like a house on fire.

Are we seriously talking about Mourinho, ffs?

He's the best paid manager of the world and only goes to really really really really rich clubs.

He has mentioned in the past that he would like a longer term project for his career and I am not sure but I think has also raised the possibility of going to non-top-tier club. He also seems pretty set on coming back to England.

Still, if it were fans of, say, Sunderland, Fulham, or West Brom talking about getting Mourinho in we'd be laughing at them.

It's pretty depressing. The only manager I can realistically see us getting who I'd be confident of not getting us relegated would be Martinez, and that's about all he'd do.
