CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

What does this mean?

I agree he often fails to bring on the extra £25m striker or the recently signed £15m winger when we are drawing with 10 minutes to go. But that is mainly as we don't have them in the squad.

What I mean is that he doesn't inspire. He doesn't do a Kenny Dalglish and go for the jugular. We had a better team in the FA semis and still couldn't win. People like Fergie and Dalglish have a killer instinct......

Just for perspective Stend, Spurs have spent as much in the past four years as Moyes has in ten.

I don't think he can make the distinction between transfer fees and net spend. Anyone claiming Moyes has had money to spend is insane, pure and simple.

Comfortably his most marketable talent is his ability to work the transfer market. The guy is one of if not the very best at doing that in the world.

Lol Liverpool spent £20m in the last month alone, with no money recouped from sales.

£12m is peanuts, and that's an average over 11 years too, so hardly a strict £12m every year thing either.

According to timeks reference he has spent £131m in 9 years. On average £14.5 million a year with a cup final to show for it. Hes spent money. People would have you believe he had spent £2m a year with the shoestring shouts.

So by your logic, he's never sold a player then?

You can't just discount the importance of net spend.

What use is it if he gets money to spend when he has to sell his best players all the time ? It's not.

Hes picked up good buys no doubt. But thats down to him having to look at loans and small fees because of his budgets. Hes also made a couple of bad mistakes with Bily an Kroldrup for good money. Id also say Beattie an Davies were major flops.

Whether comparing to the spending of other clubs or not he has spent.

He really, really hasn't. For some reason, you can't make the distinction between spending pure investment and net spend. The distinction is massive - if Moyes didn't sell, he couldn't buy. That doesn't apply to Mancini/Dalglish etc.

Hes lost one of his best players on average every three years. That being Rooney, Lescott an Arteta. Its not as if hes had three or four of his top players flogged in the same season. He had money thrown at him from Lescott and Rooney sale. Hes also been given a decent wage structure for new players. Hes had money.

It has nothing to do with net spend at all. Its what hes spent that matters the money he has recieved have been big figures at times for 1 player!

What are you expecting him to have won?

Winning the Premier League? Is that realistic?

In the 10 years he has been in charge the FA cup has been won by a non top 4 side once, the year Portsmouth won. A run which only included one game against top flight opposition and lead to their bankruptcy.

we compete in the league cup as well, Blackburn, Boro and Birmingham have won it in his time. Cardiff have been to more major finals than us. Boro, fulham and rangers have got to a european final.

Not expecting him to win everything. Just don't think he's a good enough winner for this club - hence he lacks the nous to win anything. No wins in 48 games vs the big 4 is shocking. a failure to beat small teams at goodison who come only for a point is something he hasn't learned how to do.

have you noticed every time we've had a chance to reclaim 4th place this season - our team has provided a subdue performance. Just like we did in the semi vs a weak united side, like we did vs chelsea in the final, like we did vs the RS last year in the semi. i could go on - he fails to get his teams up when it's a really needed
