Robbie Fowler:

"Everton fans: now you know why the contract was run down... Has been a work in progress for a long time."

Sounds like smackhead enjoyed that.

He's right of course but too many bought into the "St David" bollocks to now admit being dupes to his lies - koff Moyes you liar.

Anyone going to send in their CV with FM credentials? There is a precedent!

If I say please can the anti moyes people please stop saying no one is bigger than the club... please? No one has said he is , no has indicated they believe he is, no one has suggested anything that could be misconstrued as he is. Its an embarrassing, pointless cliche even by the low standards of cliches used on this forum ffs.
Thank you! You may be full of hate but I love you for this.

All the kopites are getting excited, they genuinely seem to believe that United's decline begins here, and i've heard many say that they think they could finish above them next year.
Go easy on them. I bet they were really worried Man U would want their highly coveted manager to replace Fergie. Must have been a huge relief to them when it turned out that their manager isn't wanted by anyone else.

Gary Lineker ‏@GaryLineker 10m If I were in charge of Everton I'd go for Martin O'Neill. But I'm not. Thank **** you're not
Fairly sure he must have had at least 1000 replies to that tweet saying that too. What a horrible thing to say ... but still ... better than Martinez.

Didn't Walter Smith recommend Moyes or something like that?

Yes, supposedly anyway. Which is why if Kenwright has come out today and said he's throwing it open (as if like, but nevertheless) it doesn't point in the direction of Moyes having recommended one last night (or at least one he's accepted).

Did our club well. No ill feelings with him leaving to take on the biggest job in football. Got a bit stale and familiar towards the end.

Time for something new and fresh, and hopefully someone who can do half a good a job as Moyes has done.

Good luck Davey.

If Kenwright is saying he wants fan input it doesn't sound likely.

I wouldn't take any outgoing manager's advice, tbh.

When has Kenwright listened to us as a group of fan's. take everything that man says with a pinch of salt.

He deserves the shot at a club like Man U - I can't begrudge him that.

Going to be strange not having him as manager, he's been there since I really started going the match around the age of 12..
