Seriously, though would any evertonian honestly say Moyes has done a better job than Royle?
Cos I doubt it.
Of course he has.
Royle won an Fa Cup and won loads of Derbys.
AWESOME, yes.
But we were still sh1t for 36 other games a Season.

You seem to have missed out Liverpool and Tottenham.
Of course he has.

AF how old are you mate?
I was eight when we won the FA cup. And two months old when we last won the league.
Royle is wrapped up in all the childhood nostalgia of my first game at goodison and bonding with my dad over football. Part of why I love him so much.
Actually yes.
It wasnt nice needing points in May to stay up.
In the 80s our average League postion was 2nd.
In the 90s our average League postion was 15th.
Now our average League postion is around 6th.
If we finished 15th for 10 Years we would lose around £90m.
£2m of which would be offset by winning the FA Cup.
YAY
Sure, I wouldn't want us to finish 15th every season but I'd definitely sacrifice league placing for a trophy every now and again.
I'm amazed people are more concerned with placings money than honours. It's not like the board have any idea how to use said money for the benefit of the club.
I just don't think Moyes, excellent league manager as he is, can get players to raise their games in the big matches. The semis, the finals, the derbys etc. Big Joe could, he could get average players to run through walls and walk on water in those big games. It's why I'll take him over any manager we've had since, myself.
And it's why I think we can get someone who'll improve on Moyes.
Nobody would be happier than me if we finished 17th and won the FA Cup.
And its not as if Moyes hasnt tried to win it every Year.
I'm not saying he hasn't, nor am I desperate for him to leave. But trying isn't succeeding and as I said earlier, deep down I don't believe we will under Moyes.
I agree and if we had a different Board Room I would be firmly in the COYLE IN camp, but we dont.
