Don't believe this rumour. Moyes will only leave us for a bigger job as MANAGER of a club who got ambition and money to match the ambition. Im just hoping our board does not let us down by letting us lose a quality Manager. My issue I have with this we haven't shown our thanks to the man and try and convince him that the fans do want him to stay, look at all the banners the rs had for ratboy, what have we done for Moyes? and don't put silly comments like his wages.
Not just banners, moyes had always said he will stay with us as long as the fans want him too. Sunderland, Newcastle, Villa are three clubs who would sack their manager tomorrow if Moyes would choose them, they have more money and their board have more ambition for starters, plus he would get those clubs in the CL if the board backed them. The Villa chairman loves Moyes. So you think he'll only leave us for a 'bigger club' but a banner would change his mind ? What club do you think he's off to ?
And also Moyes to Newcastle back in 2008.
I was told on good authority at the time that there was nothing in it and that Moyes was just angling for a better deal for himself.

Moyes flirting with other clubs for jobs he probably won't get to further his pay packet? Nah, not having it, he's only holding Bill to ransom for more investment...![]()

Yep, that plan's worked brilliantly so far![]()
who gives a **** about his payrise? what does that have to do with anything? Will be interesting to see how big a payrise he gets in August when he signs his new 5 year contract like.

Me obviously Jags, or else I wouldn't have mentioned it? And I will find it curious if he signs on with said payrise and we don't see the investment he's after. Hypothetical situations here n all.
Everyone in the world will take a payrise sunshine, if i was on the board i would also try and convince Moyes with a bigger wage packet to keep him. That what you do.
Not going to argue with you, as i like reading your posts, Villa are skint due to backing the wrong manager, Moyes would have done so much better then Pardew and sunderland have also backed the same manager as villa did. Those clubs earn more money then everton as well, 2 of the clubs have bigger grounds, their potential is better then ours right now. We seem to be waiting for the godfairy to bail us out and take us to the next level, Moyes cant really do much more with us without investments.Bigger clubs , all three are involved in the relegation battle and I'm not too sure villa have more money whilst Newcastle sell to buy and wont pay a star player the wage we pay Heitinga . How do you think moyes' reputation would look if he quit for a bottom 6 club ?
Most of the clubs beneath us would take moyes the ones above it seems don't , if anything you've supported my argument by saying the powerhouse clubs of villa , Newcastle and Sunderland would all love him .
This is why the board need to offer him a wedge to try and convince him, its not Moyes fault that most of our earnings go on the wage bill, its not Moyes fault we cant take the next step up. But we can pay him well to do a job for us cos he the best solution for US right now.Careful.
I'm not saying he shouldn't, and I'm not saying him angling for other jobs or payrises is wrong whatsoever, he's not an Evertonian, he's doing a job, just like any other player/coach/physio, in the same respect I dislike players being called mercenaries when they have no ties.
But it interests me that we may have the money for him, but not for what he and we need long term.
