You're pretty much spot on - on everything mate. A bloke called Ijjy will be along soon(if he ain't already posted) to give you a slap on the wrist for starting another Moyes thread. Don't worry it can be merged.

perhaps i should have chucked it in a moyes topic but wanted to put my personal feeling on it.

I have been struggling to decide what way we should go regarding Moyes . I am a big advocate of his as i remember the dross outfit we had when he came in and he has put us in a position where we at least challenge the elite. However part of me says he can not take us that next step.Negativity in his tactics being my main concern. He as taken the most clinical striker we have had in years and turned him into a bumbling wreck who drifts wide all bloody game, and then rips him in the press knocking his confidence further. The contract situation doesn't help. He accused pienaar of holding club to ransom then does the same himself .No matter how good a job he done he is not bigger then the club. Although that's the problem . I think his time is running its course but who would do a better job? I am scared at the moment. Scared of change on the one hand but scared of stagnating on the other . Interesting few months coming up for us blues, just looking on nervously and hoping for the best .

This is how I feel. I'm concerned about not knowing what a new manager would bring but on the other hand I think it could be time for fresh blood.

.....I don't think anybody can take us to the next step without investment.

I also think they have been a little fortunate- Michu has been an unbelievable find and every now and then a piece of luck like that can happen. Where would Swans be without his goals this season?

You could say the same about a lot of Moyes' best buys at Everton. We're lucky that Pienaar and Arteta both flopped under the pressure of replacing Rosicky and Xabi Alonso respectively at their previous clubs, because neither would have been affordable at their true value.

Kenwright wouldn't sack him if we got relegated mate, like brothers them.

If Kenwright wasn't here he'd have been sacked years ago. In the 2003-04 season.

heavens above lad, sacking him then would surely have been jumping the gun bearing in mind the progress made the following season?

Laudrop come on down son, stepping up from a mid table side to a top 6 side then if you win us a few trophies, get us regular European football you may just may dream of managing the big guns one day.

Laudrup will not be managing us next season. If we want to go down that (foreign manager) route Bill will have to do his own research to find the right guy. Strangely, despite the uproar when adkins was sacked, the bloke at Southampton seems to be doing well (even tho he doesn't speak English). It can be done, unfortunately our chairman probably isn't the man to do it.

with kenwright in charge jesus couldnt get us a trophy

I honestly think we would have a chance swansea aint nothing special, they havent got a rich owner nor have they got a better team than us, without Michu same as the RS with sewer rat they would be mid table right now, should Kenwright offer him the same wages as moyes is on I think he will take it.

I honestly cant see why they hav been bigged up so much Birmingham beat arsenal to win that cup with mcleish at the helm.

Not likely any time soon IMO.

Will only ever happen if he started talking about himself as bigger than our club. Which he wont.
